Are you ready? Beyoncé is coming home for Christmas!

This holiday season, Beyoncé is set to deliver an unforgettable halftime performance during the Houston Texans-Baltimore Ravens NFL game on Christmas Day. The event, taking place in her hometown of Houston, marks a historic collaboration between the NFL and Netflix, which is streaming its first-ever Christmas Day NFL games.

“Your early Christmas wish has been granted as Beyoncé will perform during Netflix’s first-ever NFL Christmas Gameday,” the streaming giant announced on Sunday in a press release.

Netflix has kept details of the halftime show tightly under wraps, but fans can expect an electrifying performance featuring songs from Beyoncé’s recent album, COWBOY CARTER. The streaming platform hinted that the show may include appearances by special guests from the album, further adding to the excitement.

This marks Beyoncé's third appearance on an NFL halftime stage, following her iconic performances at the Super Bowl in 2013 and 2016.

On Sunday night, Beyoncé teased the upcoming event with a video posted on Instagram. The clip shows her standing atop a vintage car, clutching a football, and singing “American Requiem,” the opening track from her latest album.

Netflix’s Christmas Day NFL lineup includes two games: the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 p.m. ET, followed by the Ravens vs. Texans matchup at 4:30 p.m. ET. Beyoncé’s halftime performance will air during the latter game.

This event is part of Netflix’s three-year deal with the NFL, signaling a major foray into sports streaming for the platform. The announcement follows the platform’s high-profile broadcast of a boxing match between Mike Tyson and YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul. While Netflix boasted a record 60 million households tuning into the fight, many viewers reported streaming issues such as buffering and lags during the event.

With Beyoncé’s hometown performance and the NFL-Netflix partnership making waves, this year’s Christmas Day NFL games promise to be a landmark moment in sports and entertainment.

Whether you're tuning in for the football action or the halftime extravaganza, this is one event fans won’t want to miss.
