Bill Goldberg, who is a WWE Hall of Famer, has declared he is no longer going to compete and will have a last confrontation in 2025. He has not, however, confirmed the precise day or location for his last "Big Daddy" match but did mention an ideal opponent, WWE star Gunther, since he has competed against him at Big Daddy’s and the two seem to have beef.
Goldberg announced his retirement match as he appeared during an episode of SEC Network and thanked WWE’s team Nick Khan, Chris Legentil, and Paul Levesque for their contributions, as well as addressing a promise once made by WWE’s Vince McMahon.
"In 2025, Goldberg's having his retirement match," Goldberg highlighted, also stating how he is looking forward to ending the fans' enjoyment conclusively. Goldberg hasn’t had a match since his 2022 clash with Roman Reigns at the Elimination Chamber.
Currently, fans are looking to catch a glimpse of the legendary wrestler submitted to one last contest as WWE appears to be preparing for his retirement.
John Cena has also made a huge announcement regarding his retirement from in-ring competition in a threedecade-long world tour, which makes him and Goldberg two of the iconic faces of wrestling who will be saying goodbye to fans in the near future.
