Gwyneth Paltrow is embracing her past with humor! The Oscar-winning actress took to Goop's TikTok page on Friday, Nov. 22, to participate in the viral “suspect challenge” trend, playfully poking fun at her life, her relationships, and her Hollywood legacy.
In the lighthearted clip captioned “Guilty as charged #suspectchallenge,” Paltrow, 52, clinks martini glasses while addressing her history with Hollywood’s “Brads.”
When someone off-camera quips, “Suspect has dated all the Brads in Hollywood,” Paltrow wittily replies, “Cheers to that!”
Paltrow famously dated Brad Pitt, her Se7en costar, from 1994 to 1997. The two remain on friendly terms, with Paltrow even joking during a 2022 interview with Pitt that she eventually found “the Brad I was supposed to marry”—her husband, Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk. The couple recently celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary.
The video also playfully touches on other aspects of Paltrow’s life. “Suspect loved being a nepo baby so much she created two of her own,” someone jokes, referencing her children, Apple and Moses, with ex-husband Chris Martin. Paltrow couldn’t help but laugh.
In another amusing moment, the clip teases her alleged kiss with Marty Supreme costar Timothée Chalamet. “Suspect said they were done with acting but was spotted on DeuxMoi kissing Timothée Chalamet on set,” the narrator teases, prompting Paltrow to take a playful sip of her martini.
The video wraps up with some self-deprecating jabs at her wellness routines, dinner parties that end at 8 p.m., and an ongoing attempt to understand TikTok while trying to grow Goop’s presence on the platform.
Paltrow, known for her comedic timing and candor, proves once again that she doesn’t take herself too seriously. Fans of the star are loving this peek into her personal life, all while celebrating her ability to laugh at her journey from Hollywood royalty to wellness mogul.
Though Paltrow and Pitt parted ways decades ago, their mutual admiration has endured. In their 2022 reunion interview for Goop, Pitt reflected on their friendship, saying, “Oh man, everything works out, doesn’t it?” Paltrow agreed, showcasing the warmth that defines their relationship.
Paltrow’s husband, Falchuk, remains her anchor. She referred to him as “my everything” in a heartfelt birthday tribute earlier this year. Their blended family, full of love and humor, is clearly thriving.
