The Mastercard Foundation's  Scholarship Program at Canergie Mellon University (CMU-AFRICA), is a fully-funded opportunity for Students from Africa to pursue higher education and develop their leadership skills.

The Foundation supports talented African students with full tuition coverage and other benefits to assist these students in obtaining a masters degree in select courses at the CMU-AFRICA'S Campus in Kigali, Rwanda.

Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Interested applicants should:

• Be a citizen of an African country
• Have obtained a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  Advertisement
• Demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to giving back to society
• Meet the admission requirement for CMU-Africa's masters program
• Be willing to study either a Master of Science in Information Technology or a Master of Science in Electrical and Computational Engineering or a Master of Science in Engineering Artificial Intelligence.

 Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Application Required Documents:

1. Transcripts (Unofficial transcripts can be submitted during application)
2. Essay or Statement of Purpose
3. An updated CV
4. Recommendation letters from either Professors, Supervisors or Community leaders
5. A valid ID or Passport.

How to Apply for Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Program

• Submit an online application to CMU-Africa for any of the eligible courses stated above.
• Complete a competency test which might include language or technical assessments depending on the course of choice.
