The 25-year-old artist recently came out, revealing his sexuality in an emotional statement on social media, where he addressed being “outed” by others.

In his heartfelt post, Khalid shared his journey, acknowledging the challenges of being true to himself in the public eye.

 “I was outed before I was ready, and it hurt. But today, I want to reclaim my story,” he wrote. “I am not ashamed of my sexuality, and I will not let anyone use it to shame me. Love is love, and I am proud of who I am.”

Fans and fellow artists quickly rallied around Khalid, flooding his social media with messages of love and support. Many praised his courage, noting how his openness could inspire others to live authentically.
